Anyone have some good pics that show thier PC.com chips before and after oiling? Mine are due in this week, and I am just curious. I know I probably am going to oil them anyways, but I do want to see a pic or two.

Mineral. I just picked up a bottle at WalMart for a couple bucks in anticipation of my ASM order, so the stuff is cheap and since all the posts say to use it sparingly I imagine one bottle is more than enough.

WAY more than enough!! And remember to wash them off and let them dry first so you don't make mud. Just use a damp face cloth to wash them. I like to start with a stack and hold it together tight with one hand while cleaning the edges of the whole stack at once, then do the front/back of each individually.

Just as a matter of perspective ... If you use more than a teaspoonful of oil per thousand chips, you might be using too much.

It would be great if someone would post start to finish instructions on oiling chips (hint, hint)

Yeah, a teaspoon sounds about right. When I was doing mine, I spilled more than I think I'll use on all the chips I'm oiling!
