Has anyone with a set of Paulsons or ASMs rubbed them down with mineral oil, as recommended on several websites? This is supposed to bring out the color (I tried it with one of my Paulson chips and it sure seemed to), as well as keep the dirt from building up. If you've tried it, does it meet either or both of these goals?

Check some of the threads about people getting their custom chips, there are some good comparison pictures. Seems to be the general consensus here that rubbing your chips down with a little mineral oil is a good thing, but make sure to clean them off beforehand (or risk making a 'paste' with the oil and dust on the chips). Hope this helps.

Yea i plan to use my air compressor to blow off all the dust before oiling them up, has anyone else tried this?

Yes, it does bring out the colors nicely. I just wiped mine down, the dust will wipe of, no problem. I used a diaper, put mineral oil on the diaper, put the diaper in my right hand, put the chip in my left hand, put the chip in the diaper, and rotated the chip with my left hand, using two fingers on my right hand to hold and oil the chip shoulders as i rotated.
Next i let them set in a stack, until i did 4 stacks of 20. At that point i went back to the first stack, and started wiping the excess oil off of each chip, then spread them out on a towell for a few hours to let them dry a little. DONE
