Chips: 84 | | | Colour rubbing off on the new Paulsons Alright, i'm just curious. The new Paulsons does rub off colour on eachother, atleast my PJB's does. However...i kind of feel like they don't do that as much anymore after I've played with them for a while. Like they stop rubbing off colour after being broken in somewhat. So, my question would be, do you other Paulson owners experince the same thing, or is a lot more misscolouring to be expected? |

Chips: 36,209 | | It happened a little bit on my 2005 JB's. I just put them all to a belt sander and it took the smudges right off.

Chips: 174 | | | The colors have not rubbed off on mine as much as the horror stories floating around portray, but the have rubbed off somewhat, which is to be expected with this kind of chip. I have used my set for about 20-30 hours and none of the chips look much different from when I first received them.
Someone on here posted that their set got dirty, then cleaned, then dirty, and cleaned and now they are not getting dirty as quickly, which I believe answers your question.
I don't plan on cleaning mine unless they look really bad, which won't happen anytime soon.

Nah, no one would ever do that, would they?

Chips: 129 | | | the shedding stops after a while. Keep colors stacked together. Also..oiling chips will further stop the shedding. |

I've got a bunch of the JBs and getting some non-denom Pharaohs and want to prep them all properly, but don't want to wreck them

Altough, perhaps I need to note that my chips havn't rubbed off especially much, atleast not compared to some pictures I've seen. Still, it came as a suprise to me that they rubbed of colour in the first place. You see, I'm still in the early stages of transforming into a complete chipnerd.
