Chips: 70 | | | I cannot believe how many emails I get on oiling chips. In the next few weeks, I'm going to do a full page 'how-to' with both pics and video on the subject. |

So, my question would be, do you other Paulson owners experince the same thing, or is a lot more misscolouring to be expected? | I just got some Wynn chips. These were purchased opening day at the casino, and were pristine when I got them. I've been shuffling a single red ($5) with a few blue ($1) chips. All the chips have those narrow white edgespots. After only about an hour of shuffling, I can see blue stripes across the edgespots, and a blue ring forming around the top of of the red chip.
So if your home Paulsons rub off color from one to another, you can take satisfaction in knowing that just makes them more like real casino chips!

Chips: 29,466 | | I've been shuffling these chips for 1 day. They were new/clean when I started.
All the colors look like this, but these two show it the most. They're starting to look like real casino chips!

Chips: 422 | | Nice picture! You're hired I don't think the "color" of the chips rubbing off onto each other will be a problem. It's probably worst when they are new. But how about wear? How long can I expect a set to last if I play with it a couple of times a week? Shouldn't the chips with the new mold last longer as there's more material in contact i.e. they should stack better even after lot's of wear? |

Chips: 1,589 | | | Have you guys been to a casino lately? Chips get dirty. Colors rub off some what. Some brands are worse than others. Paulson is certainly not the best in this regard.
If it bothers you, wash them.

Chips: 89 | | | As I've mentioned before, I've had this problem bigtime with older (full H&C mold) Paul-sons. In fact, with mint new chips, by the end of a couple hours of shuffling, my finger tips would be the color of the chips.
But yes, it does decrease over time. Take a stack of new chips, shuffle them for a few hours a day for a week, and I think you're over the worst of it. |

AB | I washed mine yesterday. Brushed them with some washing-up liquid and a dish brush a few seconds on each side and dried them with a towel. Now they look brand new again. Like hubbafry said the edges wear pretty fast when they are new. After a while it will not be much of a problem. They will still get dirty of course, just like any other chips would, but that's another story. The chips in CaptLego's picture wouldn't look that dirty if they would have been shuffled only with their own denominations. |
