Here is a visual as to what a little mineral oil to new clay chips does.
The top 1/2 of each stack is fresh out of the box.
The bottom 1/2 have been oiled lightly last night.

How about a shot from the other perspective, so we can see the face of the chip before & after? That's a good shot though, gives me a good idea of what they'll look like. Thanks!

mineral oil works very well... they carry it by the pint at wal-mart for pretty cheap. it's in the pharmacy section, sold as an "intestinal lubricant." ops:
