Chips: 1,728 | | Linseed? Isn't that almost like a varnish? If so, I think it would be along the lines of the guy that varnished his casino chip and then tried to find someone dumber than him to buy it on eBay.
I'm guess that it would be kind of a mess at the very least. Actually other than the experiment to remove the blems from the Casbah Club chips, I wouldn't bother with oil on any clay chip unless I needed to pretty it up for a picture. Quote: |

Chips: 2,046 | | | well after all the info i`ve just taken in, i think i`ll still be using mineral oil for my chips, then after the oil has been absorbed,i`ll try some spoon oil, like the idea of sealing the chip after the oiling has been done, may work may not so i`ll try it on a few and see. oh yea are they here yet! |

in that order | That's right. No tung oil on your girlfriend. I know, I know, you might think otherwise for "some reason", but it would be a bad application of the tung.

Anyway...with ASM chips, to be honest it's mostly the edges that are going to gain from oiling. Not going to see a big difference on the chip face....especially after a week or two. The oiling effect slighty lessens after a week or so. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
