Finally finished oiling my T25 (&T100) chips. Oiling sucks! (not really just venting)

Sweet Mary Mother! Oiling chips has gotten pretty old. of my 2000 Aquasino's I have oiled more than half of them but am really dragging along now. I just got done with my last rack of T25's. Some of those bad boys are SHARPE!

The best way I have found to oil them, is to get a rag and apply the oil. Take a stack of 10 chips and bust out the sides all at the same time. Then in a circular fashion do 3 swipes with each chip and set aside. Repeat 99 times.

After the whole rack is oiled repeat the whole process with a dry rag, to wipe off the excess and lay them out on a paper towel overnight.

I still have 3 racks of the T100's left to do, 3 racks of the T500's and 2 racks of the T1000's! My fingers are cramping just thinking about it.

I have also decided that I am going to flatten them as well. I got them cheap, but I'll be damned if I haven't had to bust my arse to get them to where I want them. Can't wait to get them to tip top form.

Yes, I too have a love/hate relationship with chip oiling. Let's see'em.

So I am an idiot and didn't get any "Before" pics of the T25's.

However I have moved on to the T100's. I got a rack done yesterday, and unfortunately this is the best pic I could get of a before and after. The pic really doesn't do them justice. The dust on the T100's is very noticeable and once oiled the chip is just beautiful.

I beg to differ, great pic of what look to be gorgeous chips. Thanks Tom.

You bet.
I oiled 300 of the with my bare hands.

But they're actually not sharper than any other BCC.

Oiling does suck. The only worse then oiling is cleaning them THEN oiling!

You beat me to it. I still have a loss of sensitivity in my thumbs since scrubbing 600+ Tukwilas (and 2 racks of Motorcitys) with a toothbrush and laundry detergent before oiling them. Took me 4 days, 6-8 hours per day. Oiling my 1500+ Samurais and 800+ Speakeasys were vacations by comparison.

That reminds me, I still need to oil my Donkey KGBs...
(and it's been over a year!)
