ASMs stuck together...

I recieved a bunch of ASM samples today from someone here, and they were packed great, no problems there in anyway...

However, some of them were stuck together. It's very hot and humid here, so I imagine that's the reason...

Does anyone have advice for getting them apart though? Pretty much all of the chips were stuck together, but with a little bit of force they came apart... Except 6. I have 3 stacks of 2 chips, and because of how they're stacked, I can't get my hand on the face of either to push them apart.

Thanks.

It's hot and humid in Hawaii, but I've never had a problem with my ASM Palmas Club chips.

Although I will take NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RESULTS:

You might try sticking them in the microwave for like 10 seconds.

Try putting them in lukewarm water for a brief time, or a plunge in cold (but not icey) water.

Re: ASMs stuck together...

Okay, I got 4 of them apart (they were solid circle sqaures by the way) by knocking the edges against other chips... But two of them are still stuck together, and they have inlays.. Will water damage them?

Probably not as hot here in Wisconsin but it gets pretty (ok, REALLY) humid here and I've never had this problem either. I'm not saying that's not the cause of what happened to your chips, I'm just saying I've never experienced it.

Re: ASMs stuck together...

I just assumed that was the cause. I live on the gulf coast in Texas, it's usually 70%+ humidity and over 90 degrees.

Most of them also are kind of.. I guess, squished is the best way I can describe it.

I wouldn't think so, but if it concerns you, try something else. How about putting them in the fridge (not the freezer) and knocking the edges after they get cold. They might pop apart more easily.
