| | | Mineral Oil vs. Mineral Spirits?
OK, stopped at Home Depot today to pick-up some Mineral Oil, but they only have Mineral Spirits?
So questions.....are they the same thing?
If not, where to find Mineral Oil?

Drug stores will definitely have it. Baby oil is mineral oil, too. |

definitely not the same thing.
mineral oil can be found in the laxative section of most pharmacy type stores (like walgreens). i've got a bottle i can bring to you on saturday if you want...lemme know....i've also got one of those handy shoe polish applicators (if you need to do the entire chip and not just the edges).

I'll hit walgreens on my way home today.
If I can't find some I'll email ya to bring it over this weekend.

mineral sprits will probably do the opposite of what you want to accomplish with the mineral oil (strip them) (and may damage your chips).

I got a nice sized bottle at target a year ago for about $2. I've oiled over a thousand chips and still have a ton left. |
