anyone ever tried that stuff?



i've already bought it. i hate all sorts of chemicals, but i think i'll have to try it nonetheless. i guess it's not different than any other 'oxy stuff', so how do you guys handle this? i guess some latex gloves should be enough? (they're writing something about wearing protection glases, which seems a bit extreme considering it's just a detergent).

I used something similar. Worked great on Paulsons, but damaged ASMs.

I dropped some spoons into an old iron bucked, stirred it by hand and dropped the chips in. No big deal.

I just soaked a Paulson Pharaoh for about an hour. I think I'll have to use a bit more of the stuff next time, but the chip came out clean after a few wipes with a toothbrush. Seems like it works indeed a bit better than dish washing detergent, less manual force needed.

Jepp. Use more and let them in there for just a couple of minutes. About 5-10 should do it.

cleaned another 50 pharaohs, this time using more of the oxy stuff and soaking them for about 30mins. the chips came out very clean this time. works way better than dish washing detergent.

EDIT:
i know it's not really useful without 'before' pictures, but i've re-cleaned some quarters i had previously cleaned with dish washing detergent. i wasn't really satisfied because on some chips you could still see some 'shadows'. the oxy worked wonders...
