Great Method on Dirty Paulson Tukwila's ...

Pics Below.
Got my batch of Tukwila's yesterday, & the $1's, as others have mentioned, are pretty filthy/gunky. Dirt, grey gunk, ect ...

What I did was use "palmolive Oxy" green liquid dish soap, a good squirt ( 2 tablespoons?), into maybe a gallon or two of hot water in a plastic container & swish/stir around to make suds..
Threw some of the chips in, & after a couple of minutes , started to clean them w/a soft toothbrush.
The grime was actually comming off the chips in my hand before I started to scrub! A rub of my fingers was cleaning the chips, exept for the "nooks & crannies" , like the hat/cane area. Scrubbing w/ the toothbrush made them bright & clean.
A dip into clean water for rinse, dry off w/ a towel & put aside on another towel.
* No need to soak for hours, no expensive or overpriced chemicals!
I think about a 5 - 10 min soak is probably best, since the chips sitting in the liquid cleaned even easier ...
Here's a Before / After ....

I think the Chips Tukwilla is easily the best value and underrated chip around. Great post and very cool chips!

Thanks. I would reccomend the above Palmolive Oxy for anyone cleaning Paulson chips. It's inexpensive & available locally in any supermarket!

Now that I've been cleaning them a while .. I would reccomend Hot Water w/ the Palmolive, not warm ... goes even easier!

Old thread but good info

I tried hot water (hot enough for my girly hands to go into briefly to get the chips out) when cleaning some asm's and they warped

so watch the temp of the water

Re: Great Method on Dirty Paulson Tukwila's ...

I used lukewarm water to clean casino Paulsons and had no problems with warping.

Re: Great Method on Dirty Paulson Tukwila's ...

I've had more than one casino cage attendant tell me they use Windex to great success when cleaning dirty clay chips.
