I have had Faux clays in my car for over a year - even during the insane heat last summer and they are perfectly fine. In fact when I used them after a hot day last summer they were awesome - no "Warm up" time needed

Re: Anyone leave a set of ASMs in their car permanently?

I've never done so, but I remember reading a thread a long time ago where someone had his car broken into and his expensive chip set was stolen.

This could always be an excuse to by some ceramics.

If it's bad to lock up a baby unattended in a car, how can you do it to poker chips?!?!?

LOL

(don't leave either in your car while you go to the casino)

Not that it ever gets very hot in Scotland, but I would not put a clay chip in the trunk of the car. Ceramics yes, but not clay.

That was me
Oh I miss my TRK Casba Clubs...

I would not leave anything other than faux or ceramics in the car going forward. The TRK's held up fine but alas were stolen so those are out.
The ceramics are cheap and have been of so far now for more than a year (I have a set of condado copies from ABC that replaced the TRK's).
