Is the fading of the inlay text just the photo?

from the first link bbb_forever has posted:
"It is not recommended for use on glass, either, since it will leave a filmy residue."

I'm not sure if i want such a film on my inlays. If you see it on glass it will have an effect on the inlays as well.

Re: Diamond Chip Cleaner's Main Ingredient...TSP

Didn't know what to do with the last dirty chip, so I though maybe I'll clean them half way with TSP and left the other half dirty. LOL

Sorry only one photo stupid camera ran out of battery.

did you have to do much scrubbing?
or did the dirt wash away with running watwer and a finger rub?

I let the solution sit in about 5-10 min. depend how dirty is the chips. I use a soft toothbrush and brush it off. Stack 6 chips together and brush off the edge one time. It is much easier then to brush them by one chips.

Does the TSP leave a filmy residue on chips? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

To my knowledge it does not. Unless you don't wash off the chips after brushing.

Re: Diamond Chip Cleaner's Main Ingredient...TSP

I have some freshly cleaned Freddie's $5s and they are a lot slicker than when dirty. At first, I thought the Diamond Chip Cleaner had left some film on the chips, but actually I think it is just that worn Paulsons are rather slippery without the sticky schmutz on them. After all, the cross-hatching is almost gone on these Freddies. Anyway, it makes them a little tricky to handle, so I guess a chip can be too clean. Maybe I'll have all my players spit on them next game.
