WARNING!!!!!!!!

When I first cleaned some of the hotstamps I only let them sit for 2-3 minutes...I let some soak for 15 minutes and the stamps will come off! Good thing I had some extras!!!!
I've used Diamond CC on hotstamps with no problems, even soaking for 15 min. So maybe use caution and test each new type of hotstamp in solution, as there seems to be variations. And don't scrub hard around hotstamp

Used TSP not Diamond CC, it worked fine if you only soaked them for 2-3 minutes.

Re: Diamond Chip Cleaner's Main Ingredient...TSP

Would adding a teaspoon of baking soda to the TSP mix ease the effects a bit (allowing a larger time window for soaking?)

Re: Diamond Chip Cleaner's Main Ingredient...TSP

Thanks for the TSP tip, used 1.5 tablespoons per 1.5quarts to clean my dirty Casino Chipcos and it worked great. Really cleaned 'em up nicely, no more sticky grimy chips, and NO bad reaction to the TSP w/ the ceramics
Took 4 batches (6 tablespoons) of TSP to clean over 700 chips in about 2.5 hours.

Cleaning solution - Google Patents

Since that posting...I bought a small tub of TSP ... TriSodium Phosphate, which is the main cleaning ingredient in Diamond Chip Cleaner. Cost me
$4.50 and that entire tub of TSP would probably clean upwards of 50,000
chips.

TSP is available from your local hardware store.

I used 1 Tablespoon of TSP in 32 oz. of warm water (for better disolving of the TSP) I let the solution cool before putting in the Paulson chips. I mixed up 2 batches of solution and cleaned 1000 chips. After soaking the chips for 15 miutes, I lightly brushed each chip with a soft brush and they came out
beautiful. Rinsed the chips and put them on a towel to dry. Much easier work than using a bit of dish soap and lots of labor.

You'll be surprised at how great a job this cheap alternative to Diamond Cleaner will do. Diamond Cleaner is a great product...it's just expensive if you have a lot of chips to clean.
I was never impressed by DCC (unless you find soap and water impressive).
Does this stuff TSP really work?
How about some before and after pics?

I'm sorry. Did you actually read the title of the thread? Because I'm really confused.

seems pretty straight forward
was I out of context?

Title claims DCC's main ingredient = TSP
TSP is being touted as great stuff and cheaper to buy

I once bought used DCC and think it's *
so I'm asking for visuals on how TSP worked.

If you thought DCC was overpriced that is one thing but if you thought DCC didn't work then straight TSP isn't going to work any better for you since DCC mainly is TSP.

yep, thats it in a nutshell.
I didt mean to go out of my way to bash DCC (if thats whats bothering you),

perhaps I could have just said again I was not impressed with it (as per my "any more than plain old soap and water" comment).

But I am genuinely interested in seeing results with TSP
(even if it is the so called main ingredient of DCC) .

so, without further sidetracking:

BTW, GreatD. what what bransd chips did you clean?
