I got myself a set of Dunes (the real thing) in a very dirty state. Because of the mold design, there are many tiny grooves that collect dirt. I soaked my chips for a couple of hours in Diamond Chip Cleaner (http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/poker-...er-review.html)

After that, I cleaned them using a toothbrush, which took too long for my tastes. I therefore came up with the idea of showering the chips - and it worked perfectly! Diamond Chip Cleaner makes all dirt come loose, which in turn is washed away easily when showering the chips.

The only downside: I will have to oil the chips now. They seem a little dull and dry now.

I haven't taken any pics before showering them; this is what they look like at the moment (before oiling).
The second picture shows how the washed chips looks dull compared to an oiled chip (in the middle).

I had to do a double take at the title. As I glossed over the thread titles, in my tired state, I thought it said Showering "with" your chips. I said to myself, there is a REAL chip lover.
