Has anybody here used the Diamond Chip Cleaner OR PipeShield on ASMs? I just wondered what does clean ASMs without dissolving them.
After doing a web search and reading more about PipeShield, I would hesitate to use this stuff to clean poker chips -- something that we're going to handle afterward. (I know some people are real believers in this stuff...and it says it's safe...but that is not its intended use.)
Maybe PipeShield cleans better than anything else, but the way it does it, and the "film" it supposedly leaves behind that keeps working...I don't think I want that stuff on my hands, or rubbing off them and onto any pretzels, etc. that I might
EAT at the game.
(Of course, poker chips are usually covered with all sorts of germs anyway, just like money, not to mention the lead in Paulsons.)
I've talked about this with a few friends (non-poker, and not experts either, granted), who generally have agreed that PipeShield
might be a bad idea...
although maybe we shouldn't have gone to that Will Smith zombie film first.
