I wouldn't think cleaning TRK would be any different than similar clays. I always thought that they had some sort of thin clear-coat on them,. but maybe they just cleaned them well before shipping. Otherwise I'd consider them the same.
From what I remember... they behaved similar to Paulson, ASM, and BCC in the oven...
I soak all my dirty chips in 1:4 Pipesheild/H20 mixture. If you're worrried let them soak for an hour and towel them off. With most of chips I let them soak over night. Its never damaged any of my chips and really works great. You can get pipesheid thru Roto Rooter.

Clays react very different to oxi cleaners. read my post in that thread brando linked.
Paulson: works great
ASM: The chips almost melted away
TRKing: ?
You either try one chip first or you go for the soft way with soap and a toothbrush.

Ahh.. gotcha. Odd... and scary. I'm glad we have this forum to learn from the pioneers. (Sorry Vince).
I have cleaned my TR King hot stamps. I used a little bit of dish soap in water, dipped a tooth brush into the soapy water, brushed clean the chip, wiped it clean with a paper towel, and set them out to dry. I didn't soak them and wiped them dry very quickly. Chips came out clean and undamaged.
