In Norway, when all of Hollywood were protesting our whaling (while the people in Alaska were killing whales far more brutally but that's another discussion) you could buy t-shirts on the street that said something like
(front)
We kill whales, seals
and baby seals
(back)
If we had dolphins
we would kill them too!
Kinda lost its punch in the translation there but still good fun ....for us.

What a great thread -- I have not laughed so hard in weeks! Thanks all. I'm taking the kids to Hanford (Nuclear site in WA state) again this weekend -- it's loads of fun to dig up all the mutant organisms. Funny, the kids sorta glow for a couple days when they get back -- saves electricity as we can leave the night lights off. |
