Vinyl Label Chip Care

What is the best way to care for composite chips with vinyl labels? (nexgens, progens, etc.)
I've searched both the Chip Care and Labeling threads and could not find a topic that addresses this. Any info here is helpful.
I am currently researching my next chip investment and I wanna go with a custom chip. Either progen/labels or Ceramics. Clays (the obvious best option) are out of the budget at this time.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Vinyl Label Chip Care

alot depends on if you have a paper label or a vinyl label with or without lamination. If theyre laminated- no matter whats underneath- they should last a long time and clean well with alcohol or soap/water.

I would be careful in cleaning a paper label or a vinyl label with NO lamination- while the inks most of us use are waterproof and smudge proof- solvents WILL destroy the ink as would rough handling/rubbing of the image--
unlaminated images WILL scratch and also wear-

years ago we used to use something called frog juice to protect unlaminated images- its like a clear laquer finish and very durable- I would recommend this to anyone who has unlaminated images on their chips
