I have some old "Las Vegas" style 9 grammers that I want to re-label and when I peel off the label, they leave a pretty decent glue residue. Any ideas on how to get it off? Hot water and soap takes way too long.

Non acetone polish nail remover.

isopropyl (aka rubbing) alcohol works well as does goo-gone, goof off, nail polish remover. If these are plastic though, you better test on one you don't mind ruining first to see if it eats the plastic.

I use rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and it works fine. I then just rinse them off in water.

liquid lighter fliud or AFTA (industrial strength adhesive remover).

when you want to reapply a label, use 3M ADHESIVE PROMOTER

i had a bunch of chips with gooey tape residue on them. i soaked them in pipe shield and then it came off very easily.
