Say I store my chips on a shelf. How many boxes can I stack and be safe? I'd be happy with 3, but 4 or 5 would be great.

700. Not the prettiest solution. 300 on each side and 100 in the center middle. They won't fit flat, as they are too wide.

I've got chipcos in the boxes, 5 high on shelves in the closet right now. Works for me.

hm, the racks and lids I have stack very well. They got kinda a recessed outer rim on top of the lids, so the upper racks really fits into that. you can lean 5 racks up to 40° to the side and they don't slide off.

i use both. i use the box/lids when i transport my chips in my rolling pelican case. but, when the chips stay at home, i like to keep them in trays/birdcages so i can admire their beauty! heck, paying all this money on my chips, i'd like to see them instead of being stored away in a boxes in a case.
