Chips: 172 | | | Goo Gone I bought a set of paulsons awhile back before I found this site. They came to me with excessive grunge on them but with good sharp edges. So I decided to set up an Assembly line type deal, goo gone-toothbrush-water-towel. Let me tell you after cleaning 1000 chips my carpel tunnel was flared to the max, never oiled them though, they look alittle white. Not to metion my fingers stink from it. Now faith has brought me here and I found old cycle and tonypap using pipe shield and mineral oil. So I called roto rooter, gave them my cc # and in 5 hours somebody dropped it off at my front door. Now I have some cfc chips I'm going to try to clean the right-way per say and oil them after cleaning. The morel is goo gone works but takes alot of effort. |

Chips: 1,202 | | | Re: Goo Gone Oxi Clean is good but they do leave a white stain on your chips, some time it beach your chips if you leave them too long.
Be careful with them. I still go with Pipe Shield. |

It makes the colors really pop and helps get rid of the factory "dust" off chips that are hot off the presses. There are some excellent before and after pictures around here. Doing a search and looking for them might take a while, but they're well worth it. It's like night and day difference between the oiled an un-oiled chips.
