What would you do if your chips were damaged from poor packing?

Sorry I moved this to good bad and ugly. Couldn't really find a good place for it and can't delete the thread.

Ok I see I have responses already. Putting the text back.

I ordered some chips from a m2m on another forum, He packed 100 ceramic chips loose in a USPS cardboard envelope mailer. The package arrived in a plastic bag because the envelope was completely smashed. They looked like they had been through a rock tumbler.

It is his fault for not taking proper care in the packaging of the chips. What would you do?

Btw it is the 2nd order I have received from him. The first package was properly packaged in a cardboard box.

Have you discussed the situation with the seller privately prior to this post?

I have. Haven't gotten an answer. Just wondering how many others had their chips packaged by a moron and what you did about it.

Re: What would you do if your chips were damaged from poor packing?

If I didn't get a response, I'd call 'em out publicly. This is unacceptable.

2 options:
1) Refund your money
2) Send more chips. If these show up damaged, lather, rinse, repeat.

I agree, poorly packaged chips are not acceptable.

It's funny but chips purchased from eBay have been packaged "ok" but chips purchased from CT members have been meticulously packed and sent with care.

i agree 100%! i swear an explosion could happen near some of the packages ive gotten from CT members and the chips would remain unscratched...

some CTr's protect their chips more than their kids

i'd be pissed if i got damaged chips and then no response from the member... thats bullcrap!
