yeah...I tried scented baby oil from ASDA on a few of my Paulsons when I was new into clays, to be honest I don't think you need to oil Paulsons at all. I couldn't tell any difference.
I use some lightly scented baby oil on my chips after each cleaning. Not only does it brighten them up but it is great excuse to get the GF involved (first the chips, then her).
BTW, how many babies do you have to squeeze to get a bottle of baby oil?

I'm trying out some unscented baby oil (maybe has a slight smell but nothing noticable) on a few of my Paulson Sahara hotstamps.
So far it has made a huge difference on the reds and greens. I'm not using it on the whites, they don't need it. Going to let them dry out thoroughly for a couple of days and then see if there are any side effects/problems before starting on the remaining 1100 odd.
Those paranoid types who would like to see that their product is labeled as 99.9% pure mineral oil can pick up a bottle of the stuff in the laxatives section of CVS, Target...etc. Unscented baby oil from a reputable company like, say Johnson and Johnson should be 99.9% pure mineral oil but they may not be required to indicate the purity, whereas the stuff meant to be ingested for constipation will be.
