Good point, but overall I like the larger size of the ring type when using one of my babies as a card protector. They also spin on edge better.

Re: Storing/displaying sample sets - air tites or flips and binder pages

Gmunny's excellent reference post was my collector's storage bible (unfortunately, after I had bought 100+ airtites). I now have three of the Target zipped 2-sided binders, and may need to buy a fourth soon. I had been keeping my special rose and motorcycle-themed chips in airtites, but since I carried them around with me, they all got terribly scratched up.

Fortunately, I found two 96-chip mini-binders that I've started putting those chips in, so now I can take my entire collection with me when I feel like showing off. I got spoiled by zippered binders, though; I've had chips fall out of the non-PVC flips I use for these binders. But I think I've solved that by using scotch tape over the openings; it can be easily removed and re-taped as needed.
