I used to use Oxi clean on chips, was probably one of the first to post that I used it. It does a good job, but does leave the chips kind of dry. If you don't mind oiling after, go ahead.
Ever since I got some of the diamond chip cleaner, there's no turning back. No oiling necessary. Works quicker than the oxi too.
