Chips: 193 | | | My 1st traders..Should I clean them ?? Hello,
I spent part of the last 2 days in AC..
I picked up what are going to be my 1st traders..
My question is..Should I clean these ?.. I don't know as I'm new to this trading thing..
On the aside..I got my 1st B+M casino straight flush ever..
and Trump Taj has the dirtiest chips I have ever seen..
If I should clean these .. How should I do it?? |

I understand some collectors like their chips in the same condition they left the casino in (i.e. dirty, if that's how they were). However, wouldn't cleaning them generally make it easier to identify (and share via photography) what condition the chips themselves are in? I've always been curious about this... I've seen pictures of chips so dirty that you honestly can't tell what they'd look like under the dirt - could be poor with rounded/chipped edges, or might be excellent; can't tell from the picture. And even cleaning and oiling Paulson Cherries (with intent to use in play; I'm not really a collector of chips for the sake of collecting), I've been shocked at how much better a "good" condition chip looks afterwards. And they look "better than described" in photos after, too! |

Chips: 1,715 | | | Re: My 1st traders..Should I clean them ?? Even if you are not keeping the chips, if they are from the Taj, you have to clean them before you ship them. They are considered biohazardous otherwise. It seems all AC casinos are taking their cue from Trump as they all are getting nasty. One more reason to play at Borgata. Clean Bud Jones plastic. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
