Hi. I live in Germany and am not sure what kind of oil I need to buy to oil my T-molds. What exactly is Mineral Oil?

I'll answer this one in german:
Am besten nimmst Du Paraffin. Das bekommt man in jeder besseren Apotheke. Paraffin ist ein Mineralöl. 100ml reichen so für ca 3000 chips 
Sorry guys, I just don't know what an Apotheke is in english *lol* |

From Wikipedia: Mineral oil or liquid petrolatum is a by-product in the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline. It is a transparent, colorless oil composed mainly of alkanes (typically 15 to 40 carbons) [1] and cyclic paraffins, related to white petrolatum. Mineral oil is a substance of relatively low value, and it is produced in very large quantities. Mineral oil is available in light and heavy grades, and can often be found in drug stores. Check out this fun chip-related gem in the Wiki entry under 'applications'. I wonder which CTer added this? Oddly, I've never really considered oiling chips to be escalating the aging process, rather just to remove chalkiness and bring out the vibrancy of the colors. It is commonly used to create a "wear" effect on new clay poker chips, which, without the use of mineral oil, can only be accomplished through prolonged use of the poker chips. The chips are either placed in mineral oil (and left there for a short amount of time), or the oil is applied to each chip individually, and is then rubbed off, removing any chalky residue from the new chips, also improving the look and "feel" of the chips.

Is this translated as Apothecary? Also known as a drug store/pharmacy.
