Unless you are close to the limit for check luggage, just put the good chips into your suitcase. I have done that with 2000 chips returning from US. I had no problems but I did get a TSA note in my suitcase that they were opened for inspection.
I wouldn't trust the mover or the baggage handlers with my babies. Definately carry-on. 700 is not that much and it wouldn't be too heavy to handle, they're not slugs. I'm sure a small carry-on suit case will be fine. The only concern is customs, be prepared to check it in or mail it.
Good luck with the move. I'm sure it's a lot of work.
Thanks, but actually its just the samples that total 700 chips ...that plus the ASMs and winners club total over 3000+ chips to move, not including the faux.

what about the rest of your furniture/appliances your shipping with your movers? surely if your trusting all that stuff to the movers your chips should be just fine in a box insulated with a couple of blankets. it'll be on a moving truck that will be roughly the same temp as any shipping companies truck/plane hold. I'm going the opposite route of everyone else and saying box em in whatever container u use, then pad em wrapped in a couple blankets/towels, then put in another box (preferrably hard sided and labelled chips handle with care) really don't see this being a problem unless there going to be sitting in a yard someplace in a leaky trailer for days or something?
