hi i have a few chips that is really dirty from biloxi missippi,i want to know if is it safe to use CLR cleaning soution on your chips?

I would think that being an acid, it would damage your chips so my gut would say no. But test it on one you don't mind losing first and see what happens.

I tried CLR (about my 8th choice after nothing else worked) on some Katrina'd Gulfport chips. I didn't soak but just rubbed on for a while. It didn't help, at least it didn't work any more after the first 7 products. It did not harm the chip, though.

End of my CLR testing. It's not something I would normally consider for clay chips.
