Is there anyone from the UK got hold of any mineral oil..?
I've been to Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, ASDA!!!
Any ideas please??

Johnson's Baby oil is mineral oil with fragrance in it, if you get in a pinch. I found mineral oil in the laxative section of the drug store here in the US.

It looks like it's the same stuff. If you can drink it, it's OK.

That is what I use except I use no fragrance. Didn't want my chips smelling like a baby. Basically, baby oil is mineral oil with fragrance added.

Probably just a nomenclature difference. If it's actually called "paraffin" on your side of the pond... well, that's dumber than us calling Petroleum distillate "Gas".

Everyone knows "paraffin" is the wax used to make candles.
