Re: Packaging small quantities for shipment to....Canada.

Oh, and before someone asks, the "on" side of the kill button means "kill" (duh!), as in "to murder". The "off" side means "prolong, pending, or delayed". At least, that's what the Japanese post-doc in my lab tells me.

I sort of regret the "kill" kanji. I almost decided to go with another symbol:

that means "to behead with a sword"... and it's a cooler looking and somewhat simpler (sort of) character than the 4-component "kill" kanji.

I was almost going to get some gold model paint and try to create a stencil to cold stamp my T's...course, I lost interest.

LOL. Thanks... I think. My Japanese friend said something similar. "Looks good... Well, I can definitely read what it says, anyway. But your writing is sort of... I don't know... too 'wide'."

Writing Japanese with a Canadian accent? Too funny...

Nice idea, and they look great.

Thanks for all the compliments.

Here are the kanji characters (typographic; just blew up a font and screen-captured it) that I either used or considered:

Samurai (typographic):

Kill (murder):

Prolong (pending):

Exist:

To behead (specifically, to lop off ones head with a sword):

Samurai kanji (calligraphy):
