I recently purchased 20 more st jo 50cent chips, however they are dirty, not mint like my others. Whats the best way to clean these? Im not trying to remove any hotstamps, jsut get the dirt and junk off them, so I can bring out that HOTPINK and DAYGLOW GREEN color.
I've used this many times on hotstamps. A little bit on a tooth brush and a little brushing, gets the dirty and grim off beautifully without doing any damage to the hotstamp. It does get it a little dry but a little mineral oil will fix that. Maybe there's something simular in the US that you can try.
i just cleaned 600 cherries with pipe shield and then oiled them. i used a soft toothbrush to scrub them out of the wash and they look great. no damage to the hotstamps at all.
I almost bid on a set of the St. Jo $.50 chips about a year ago, but then I read that the hot stamps cracked some of the chips, and changed my mind. Though I would have gotten them for a steal- full rack for 30 bucks.
A lot of the St Joes have cracks. For the most part, they don't affect play at all, but they lower the price of the chips making them one of the best deals around!
I used Diamond chip cleaner on all of my hotstamped chips, and it worked fine.
