Any advantage to multiple oilings?

I oiled my Pharaoh's a little over a month ago. Since then, I have been shuffling them regularly and the effects of the oil seem to have worn off. I am considering oiling them a second time. Is this something that is recommended? I've read a fair amount about oiling, but never ran across people doing it more than once. I re-oiled 5 chips and they look great, but I decided to hold off on the others until I got some advice. I don't mind spending the time to oil the chips, but I probably won't bother if the effects wear off so quickly. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Oil does not wear off a chip, it soaks in. I would not re oil them again, just use them.

Re: Any advantage to multiple oilings?

Oil does not wear off, this is true. Shuffling new chips after they are oiled can return a little of the chalky look to the chips. It's not very noticable because you'll be handling them. If you wait until the chip is broken in, reoiling will give it an even deeper and richer color. I tried it with a few chips to discover this. I would not go through the trouble of reoiling all 3,000 of my chips, just too time consuming. If you oiled them heavily to begin with you may never see this. My experience is with Blue Chip Co. chips only and they are probably the chips that benefit the most from oiling.
