So I bought these great Viva Las Vegas chips on Ebay and the guy said they were in very good condition and they were except they looked like this when I got them.
Being a good ChipTalker I knew just what to do. I mixed a 4:1 solution of Pipe Sheild to water and placed these babies in a tuperware container for 24 hours. Using a Crest SpinBrush (electric tooth brush) I scrubed all the fingerjam and nasty bacteria off the chips and rinse in cold water until they looked like this.
Most of the junk came off in the PipeSheid container but the junk in the crevases didn't but was no match for my electric toothbrush. As you can see
these chips are undamaged and clean as a whistle. Thank You PipeSheild for saving the day.
I think more of the gunk would have come off on its own if I let them soak longer but I was impatient to clean them off so I used the tooth brush to help clean them up. I think Pipesheild is safer than detergents that might cause the colors to fade or cause excessive drying. OC really found something safe and easy to use that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
