http://www.rex-bac-t.com/ item 3 is what i use .
updated 01/ 09 / 2007 Here is what the rest looked like after soakinh for 96 hours, before being cleaned. It took minimal scrubing with a tooth brrush to get the results you see. Even after 4 days in the soup, I could finf no damage to any of the chips. I'm happy with the rsults and just put about 200 misc chips into a coffee can woth a 4 to 1 mixture and in 3 to 4 days I will start to clean. They are part of a group lot of about 600 circulated casino chips I purchased a while back.
UPDATED 01-07 11:00 AM. HERE IS THE SCAN OF ABOUT HALF OF THE CHIPS AFTER 72 HOURS in the soup. A very light scrub with a toothbrush did the job. One should be able to do 75 to 100 an hour. As the 2 scans will show the Harah's were a real mess to start with. I saw absolutly no damage to the chips from the soaking. I'm not sure that anything will be gained by leting the remainder soak longer, but I'm going to leave them for 2 more days. More to check for damage then anything else. It also would seem that this did not have any impact on the hot stamp.

I got my gallon of, REX-BAC-T BIO-D today and the following will be headed for a bath. I just grabed a selection at Random, but tried to get a couple of each type. Inlay, hot stamped, silver coin insert, Brass coin insert. Semi filthy, real dirty, etc. Soak time will vary, starting with 24 hours and go on up from there. The mixture will be 4 to 1 for starters. Open to thoughts, suggestions, whatever, as this is totally an experiment.

Start of the soak 01/04/07
Not much to report 24 hours in. I have basiclly let them just sit in the 4-1 mixture for 24 hours. Did shake the container twice over the 24 hours to circulate the solution. Tomorrow I will pull out a couple and see how they clean up.
12/07 WE are close to having been in the soup for 72 hours. The only thing that has been done, is some light shaking of the chips in the solution. I will pull some chips later this morning, around the 72 hour mark and see how they clean up. The solution is turning a light gray, which leads me to think, the crap is working it's way off. 72 hours might be extreme, but we will see as I plan to leave some for 5 to 7 days.
