They often require 2 different methods.
I thought I had it down pat until I ran into Blue Chip Bleed. One tough (but rare) hombre.

Also does not remove black paint.

As you can see paint stays with pipe shield.

Untill it is real filthy abd that takes awhile.
What ever you do don't put it down your drains, it might help keep them clean and smelling nicely.  |

It might be worth a shot.
