New hardware for that cool old case.

Of course, *you* may have a chromium dip-tank in the shed

Re: New cleaning option.

oldcycles --- do you have the MSDS (material safty data sheet) for this?
If so do you know how it compares with the common organic carpet cleaner (for pet unine) sold by pet supply stores. Great idea but, if it is the same stuff, the carpet cleaner is readily avavalible anywhere.

Re: New cleaning option.

Great job, OC. Sure beats dissolving a Paulson in acetone!

*EDIT* I think I gave you + rep... but I accidentally hit ALT or something and went to some other page before I'd finished typing. Anyway, some incomplete sentence starting with "Thanks for th" was from me!

Re: New cleaning option.

Great ideas, oldcycles and hico!

I, too, am curious to hear how the RR product compares to hico's suggestion.

I should, by law we have to carry that in our vans but mine is buried under everything.
What exactly are you looking for?
This stuff is commonly avalable just call RR and they deliver to your door.

Re: New cleaning option.

You guys *have* heard of Google, right?

http://www.rotorooter.com/residential/products.php

It looks like the ingredients are: water, ethyl alcohol, and "bacterial cultures".

I'd be worried about using them on my Cherries, because of the alcohol. But I realize that Oldcycles' stamps survived.

I figure there is very little alcohol.
Don't forget I soak some chips in straight pipe shield for 20 hours with no ill effects.
Actually it made cleaning much easier, just a few swipes with the tooth brush.
