Re: Another St. Jo's thread (PIX)

Glad it worked for you! I was just surprised to find Ethyl alcohol in the BX. When I initially posted my findings, I was doing $5 chips. These chips needed to be soaked longer to get the entire hotstamp and MGC ink removed. I went home that night and started doing my $1 chips and found that just over a minute was plenty of time to be able to rub both markings off the inlay! I must have done over 500 chips that day and I have to say they look great. I will get some pics posted later....
Maybe the owner of this thread wouldn't mind if I posted them here since there are son threads already started on these chips!

Here are mine. I'm up for trading. I would like some more 100s and have little use for the .50s and 1s.

J Dub - I may be interested in buying your $1 chips if you are willing to sell. PM if interested with a price and quantity.

Thanks,
Ryan

Primary or secondary 100's? I have both. PM me with an offer, I'm sure we can work something out.

I would just like to take a moment to thank 2_hotty and J Dub for their gratuitous chip porn. Great pics of some nice chips.

Hey guys!

I am a new cat and I don’t have a lot of Paulson experience. But, I own some St. Jos and I am surprised how different the sound and appearance is between the $1 and $25. In my opinion the $25 has nicer lower sound and also is not as slippery as the $1. The $25 is a much better chip, what do you think?

Well I know from all the $25 chips that I bought, both primary and secondary, that they were the most damaged by the hotstamping process. Any chips with a crack in them will definitely have a different sound than ones that didn't. That's my take on the different sounds.

Edit: How do you already have a red square for REP with only one post?
