What denoms did you get? Did you buy used or new? |

What denoms did you get? Did you buy used or new? | Well, I started the de-foiling process last night. Did not do a whole lot but I'll give my early impressions. The heart of the hot-stamp removes quite easily but the outer rings take a lot more elbow grease. I attribute that to the inlay being recessed and the magic eraser can't reach the outer edges as well. After removing the foil there's also a MGC black stamp underneath that which takes some more effort. It takes about 1 min to get the chip reasonably clean but I would get 2 more mins at least to get the hot stamp completely off. Even still, there may be some residual evidence. I'll post pics when I have more to show of the before/after. I got some $5 samples and that hot stamp comes off super easy because it has a grand inlay and it's not stuck to any clay.
I purchased the brand new damaged Paulsons. 700 total.
100 - $.50
200 - $1
300 - $25
100 - $100
It makes for 1 good cash game set and 1 good tourney set. The $25 chips seem lighter than the other ones and show the cracks the most. The $100 has less noticeable cracks and it's a black chip so it hides them better. Some chips have cracks that you can't even barely see. For the price, you can't beat this deal for authentic Paulson chips. |

othere misc pics | Incredible! We need to full report! How long to soak? What brand(s), what mixture? I have LOT of these exact chips that I need to clean, and I'd love to do 20 seconds vs. 3 minutes! Greg | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
