Hi everyone:
I've used Oxyclen on about 2000+ chips now and here are my observations:
1. They don't harm clay chips (non-foil types) but they do bleach the exposed edges slightly. Hot or warm water works best when the chips soak for about 5 minutes before scrubbing.
2. Using a kitchen scrub pad/sponge speeds up the process. Don't overscrub when using a new one because they are slightly abrasive.
3. After the cleaning and drying process, I apply a thin coat of Old English furniture oil on the edges to bring back the color bleached out.
I agree with a post on another thread that the Paulson blue chips shed clay/color worse than all the others. Vineyard $1 require alot of cleaning when they arrive and about once a year thereafter.

Good luck,
John B
