I can't second enough the point about getting samples, especially when deciding between quality clay and ceramic chips.
I have ASM clays from over 5 years ago. I had been considering ceramic chips, until a friend brought over his Egyptians to check out (and I played with them once at his house).
The clank of the plastic really turned me off. I'm a clay man for life, most likely,even with the greater graphics surface area that ceramics can provide.
