Chips: 2,450 | | | Caros books of tells? Anyone read this?
Friend just finished it and said it was a great read with alot of great info.
Had some extra $$ on paypal so was thinking about picking it up, just wanted to hear a few other opinions on the books.
So what do you think? Worth the $$? Or should I just save it for something else?
Thanks |

It needs to e re-released in a modern format.
The 1970's pictures reminded me of watching bad 70's pron.
The hair and clothes are from an era best left in the 70's.

Chips: 294 | | | Re: Caros books of tells? Yeh, Id agree really, it has a lot of very good advice, but a little outdated. Obviously it's not a book on tells/reads (although it has a little section), but Harringtons 3 book series on NLHE tournies is an amazing book. |

It has saved me from making a few calls, and to make a few I would not have normally. And they were mostly correct.
"Tells" as he describes them are not something that come into play during every game, but just enough ammo that if you know you are not playing against a veteran player that will intentionally throw out bad signals, you can really see some of Mike's examples come to life at the table against new players and at lots of home games. |

Chips: 626 | | | Re: Caros books of tells? Def' way out-dated. You can still apply much of what is said to the game. Along with what the others have said it'd be nice to see it re-released/edited. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
