Chips: 1,186 | | | How many poker books and DVDs are in your collection? Just wondering since I think that I have too many.
Also - please respond to the thread as far as those that are the most useful and the least.

Chips: 1,186 | | | Re: How many poker books and DVDs are in your collection? Does that mean that you've never read any poker education books Vince or that you just don't have any now? I know a few people who refuse to read poker how-to books on principle because they're afraid it will negatively impact their game. Quote:

Chips: 1,186 | | | Re: How many poker books and DVDs are in your collection? I think that for me it's a tie between three books as most useful so far:
Harrington on Hold 'em volume 1
Super System
Phil Gordon's Little Green Book
Least useful by a long shot is the stupid Antonio Esfandiari book "In The Money" that I read last week. I still can't believe that book got decent reviews.

Chips: 83 | | | Re: How many poker books and DVDs are in your collection? I have 27 books/DVDs. My favorites are:
Caro's Book of Poker Tells
Caro's Pro Poker Tells DVD
Caro's 12 Days to Hold'em Succe$$ (28-page booklet, only 20,000 printed, and I have...a photocopy of the one from our library)
The Theory of Poker
I take Caro's word as gospel. The man is a certified genius when it comes to tells, and his Threshold of Misery is easily the single most important thing about poker I have ever learned.
And The Theory of Poker is amazing, and one of the only books by Sklansky that is readable. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
