A strategy site that I am a member of has had a couple of the co-authors stop by and they said they would answer questions if we had any. If you guys have any really good questions let me know and I'll pass them on. |

I'm in. I suck at poker and could use the communal bashing and discussion. |

Obviously, we won't be going over the "Basics" section, since I would assume anyone picking this book up knows about odds, outs, etc. I know at least one other person that will probably be in. She probably has finished the book already. |

it is a subscription site though, but you might be able to participate in the forums without subscribing. It is primarily a limit hold'em strategy site, but they are branching into NL, and have a few videos on HORSE, PLO, and 2-7 TD. I subscribe so I can get access to their instructional videos, make requests for new videos, and get some advice from the three pros that run it. It is a little pricey if you are a low stakes grinder ($150 for 6 months), but the knowledge you gain is almost definitely worth it if you play a lot of limit hold'em. |

Edit: I'll be in once I order it and get started on it.

Edit: I'll be in once I order it and get started on it. | nice find with the 2p2 link. I thought about subscribing to stox's site, but lately they have been putting out way more NL videos than limit. Plus the guys at deucescracked I felt like had a better understanding of the dynamics at the stakes I am playing (about 90% 5/10 right now).
But now that I am playing more HU limit I am considering trying a month at Stox just so I can watch TheBryce's headsup videos. Apparently he plays it about as well as anyone online, and I'm sure I could learn a lot from there.
I'm sure that a subscription to either site is +EV though, as I've heard members of both give rave reviews. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
