From what I've read of McEvoy in cardplayer I wouldn't buy any of his books. I don't read his articles anymore. Nice guy though, e-met my wife at 'stars and played her HU for $10. She won with a donkaliciously aggressive style.
Chan is a limit master but who knows if he can write...

There's some decent concepts, I guess, but the only really interesting thing in the book is Sklansky's tirade against no limit tournaments. If you have Harrington's books, they pretty much cover the concepts from this book that you need (i.e., Gap concept, deal-making, etc). |

I assumed you had already read them though, because yousiad you were only looking at those 3 books. |

Using some of the ideas I picked up I felt more in control and got a lot farther more often than I had been defore. Maybe now I need to go back and re-read the Harrington books. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
