Does anybody know anything about this book? I own the Little Green Book and have seen the Little Blue Book, but have no idea what the Little Black Book is even about. Any help? http://www.amazon.com/Phil-Gordons-P...e=UTF8&s=books

I am pretty sure the little black book is a reprint of his first book "The Real Deal (?)" which is really only a basic introduction to poker. It was repackaged with the green and blue books to make a gift pack.

I heard this as well.
I got the Little Blue Book for Christmas. It was a good read. It's not as beneficial as any Harrington book, or Gordon's Little Green Book, but I still enjoyed it.
If your someone who loves anything poker, I would recommend it. But if you're looking to invest in poker training, I'd recommend any Harrington book or Sklansky's relatively new NLHE book.

Thanks for the info guys. Trust me, I think I have read nearly every poker book out there. I recommend LGB to my poker friends who are new to the game. Sklansky is great, but at times can be a difficult read. HOH is another great series. I'm looking forward to Negreanu's book to come out. I think he is extremely entertaining and I'm sure his book will be as well.
I have read both the little green book and little blue book both are good reads. The little green book is educational and the little blue book is hands Phil Gordon has played and how they turn out.
i just got phil gordons boxset gren blue black books.
so i will let you know what i think
cheers guys
please note the date on the threads you keep bumping. if it is older than 30 days you really should have a decent reason for bumping it other than saying "hey I have that book" or "I know you asked that question 6 months ago but I'll try to get around to answering it now".
You seem to be new to the site, so I can understand and appreciate the enthusiasm, but for those of us that check the new posts frequently it gets pretty annoying reading these bumped threads when you aren't really adding any content to make them current or interesting.
