Chips: 6,850 | | | Mathematics of Poker -- new book by Chen and Ankenman I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this book, but since I am only mediocre at math, I thought I would wait for Amazon rather than pre-ordering from Conjelco. Have any of you (hello Jojo) gotten this yet? (According to 2+2, Conjelco just shipped it last weekend, so it should be getting out there.) If so, what do you think? Specifically, I was wondering if it will be really hard for us not total math studs to understand. |

This reminds me of all my textbooks in college
I <3 math (yes I'm a geek with a BS in Mathematics). Too bad I haven't really used most of my advanced math skills since college.

I dropped out of college to go to medical school, but I was within 10 hours or so of a degree. I haven't used it in years (except for tutoring teenagers in algebra), and it has all atrophied from neglect.
