WSOP 2006 Copag´s. TO OPEN OR NOT?????

Just recieved this incredible set yesterday, it´s factory sealed. I´ve been very tempted to open it, but something tells me not to. What would you do????

(I guess I´m expecting an answer that says: "open it, play with them, that´s what they are made for¨).

I really want to share this beauties with you.

I'd keep them sealed and use a setup of kem WSOP (seconds) on sale at most card retailers.

open it, play with them, that´s what they are made for.

..but really, what was your intention when you purchased them? If it was to play with them, then open them. If you just bought them as a collector's item to possibly flip later on then you should just store them away. They're probably no different from other Copags so you could probably get a newer setup on the cheap.

They're definitely harder to play with in cellophane. But if you don't plan to use them, keep 'em wrapped up.

Re: WSOP 2006 Copag´s. TO OPEN OR NOT?????

I've owned a few sets of these (used and unopened) over the years but only have one set now (the one i bought sealed). I used them a few times but the red deck is bowing a little bit. I think it has something to do with the red color because in the previous sets, the red decks were also like that.

I say use em. You can't fully enjoy them unless you see them in live play.

I say do it. Like K said, you're not going to fully enjoy them until you see them in live play.

Why haven't the "Don't do its" chimed in? I'm looking at you, Jamby, Krafticus, Babyfreak...

Re: WSOP 2006 Copag´s. TO OPEN OR NOT?????

Keep them sealed. Post a WTB ad here on CT asking for a used setup from '06 you should find them. USPC makes WSOP cards from '07 to present. All copag WSOP cards were suppose to be destroyed after the WSOP each year.
If you want a used on of those (Kems) You can usually find them for around $15-20 range.
Good luck finding another Factory sealed setup of '06 copags.

Leave them sealed...my 2 cents.

Re: WSOP 2006 Copag´s. TO OPEN OR NOT?????

I would keep them sealed.

I think the mystery and curiosity of these cards will die off and then you'll regret it...I would either find another Wsop open set up on ebay and use those or just use another plastic deck.

You don't find these cards sealed to often...You can gain profit for them years down the line.

Keep it wrapped up and sealed away somewhere you'll forget about them and don't think about it.
