Yaay! Just got this case yesterday, and even though I had a guest at the time that UPS arrived, I couldn't wait to tear into the box and "show it off!" It looks very nice, even though I don't think it is 1/2" solid mahogany, it looks good for the purpose it will serve. I don't intend to be carrying it around anywhere - it will just sit on a table and look nice! And you can't beat the price of $49.99 delivered!! Now all I need is a set of Pharaoh's to put in it!! (I may need to get another one or two though - to house the American Beauties when they arrive!)

Could you post here what it would be for shipping to canada (or do you need specifics) I'd like to know and I'm sure some ppl wouldn't mind knowing, also what to expect in customs fee's would be good too.
I sanded one of mine down and it was MDF, but dont let that deter your decision. This a great case, the strongest case I have owned and looks really nice. Granted its not real mahogany but what do you expect for that kind of money. The case actually holds close to 600 chips in the top and bopttom racks. I stood on mine when I was about 240lbs (pre-surgery) and it held me just fine.

I was able to get 330 in the top tray and 240 in the bottom rows.
To get 600 total in the case, you'll need to put 30 chips in the section
that holds the cards, button, etc.
Darius- There a variant of that case out they call the "Gambler" and it holds 600+ (636) chips. I ordered one for my 500 set that I added on to. Unfortunately the two outfits that I saw it advertised on are now open domains. I did see it once on overstock.com. The difference between this one and the one on this thread is that the bottom chips are stacked cross-wise instead of front-to-back, and it's a bit bigger. But you usually can't tell that from the pictures you see advertised.
The shipping box is rather plain, the only markings are "PC-600" and "110204" (which I'm assuming is a part number?).
If you want, I can post a pic. It's probably still out there somewhere- you'll just have to find it.
